On reading the sample on the Kindle, this textbook appeared to present a comprehensive basic review of seawater in a cogent and very readable manner. However, its tables and diagrams as displayed on the Kindle are so reduced in size as to be illegible. The lack of color transmission, and the failure of the font size function to effect these figure elements, makes the value of downloading this textbook questionable.

For both chemical and physical oceanography, this book is great. It isn't overwhelmingly long and it explains concepts very clearly and concisely. The diagrams and figures are really good and the chapter questions and answers are super helpful! I highly recommend this book for anyone taking an oceanography class, or for anyone looking for a reference book to have.

Me encant�... es una novela corta, se lee r�pido no por lo peque�a sino por lo emocionante y bien escrita. La autora es maravillosa en relatar historias, te es facil imaginar a los personajes as� como las escenas. Te adentras tanto en la �poca del a�o 760 que crees estar ahi... y las escenas er�ticas, son m�s que buenas. How to build a comprehensive model,and live to talk about it

Penny's book is an excellent introduction to the world of modelling for project finance (which is so different from other types of financial modelling).
The book is filled with suggestions on how to build your model from the ground up, so that the model is robust enough to accomodate virtually all types of sensitivity request. By following the guidelines in the book, you will significantly reduce the number of times you will say "the model can't do that".
The book comes in 4 volumes, the first giving an overview of modelling for project finance, the second explains the different model sections and suggestions for the optimal layout eg: tax, cash, debt, Balance Sheet, etc. The third section gives tips on debugging (who has time?) and presentation. The final section presents a sample model for review.
I highly recommend this book. I can say that the tips and tricks learned from this book have saved me countless hours of sleep AND possibly many problems with my models.
If you are a serious project finance modeller, you should consider taking the author's 3 day course covering similar material. With the course AND this book, you might actually get a life. Both are well worth the money.

The Womanist Reader is an excellent compendium of contemporary womanist scholars and theorists' worldview as women. The sources and viewpoints are vaied, i.e. from several diciplines and universities. The articles would be difficult to access, if Dr. Phillips had not mined and collected them for this compendium.

This volume is absolutely necessary for any contemporary woman of African descent who's looking to enhance/enlarge her views on the roles of Africana women in the 21st century.
